The Ombudsman Program is designed to support and empower consumers by resolving individual complaints involving long-term care service, while working to improve and enhance the long-term living system for the residents and their families.

Core Components of the Service
The Ombudsman advocates for and protects the rights of persons receiving long-term care services. They receive, investigate, and resolve complaints on behalf of individuals. Trained staff or volunteers are available to act as an impartial mediator to address concerns.
